| Jeannette Claudine Romeu/ Galaxy Girl (Pianist/Composer/Sound Engineer/Producer/ Singer/Actress/Guitarist/BassPlayer/Percussionist) Prodigy pianist, composer, producer, and performing artist, Jeannette Claudine Romeu is crossing barriers of music for all genres in the industry today. Having performances featured as one of the headliners for 6 years now at the Ultra Music Festival has made her highly popular amongst Electronic Artists such as Paul Oakenfold, Rabbit in the Moon and Crystal Method. Her dance music embraces sounds from all over the world, and she continues to reinvent music lyrically, melodically, rhythmically and in her live performances. Romeu plays the keyboard as an orchestration in itself at her concerts, without any musicians to back her up. She provides walking bass-lines, left hand arpeggios, accompaniment, solo lines in the right, and a booming big beat presence that punctuated every song, particularly her up tempo cuts. Romeu has turned alternative rock and R& B blues mixed with electronic references and devices into a jubilant, beautiful sound that many others immediately absorb to follow her footsteps. Jeannette Romeu has received offers from Gloria Estefan for her song “People Like You and Me”. Jeannette has also written the song, “Someone Else In Your Mind” (from her album Book of Diamonds) that was to be presented for the artist Phil Collins, through Legendary Producer Thomas Dowd. Starting at age 4, Jeannette Romeu was known as the “star child” “Baby Jeanny” in Cuba, where she starting writing her own compositions and performed as an actress and singer for live broadcasts of children’s television shows. She performed under the guidance of her grandmother, legendary music/tv producer Zenaida Romeu, who was known as a concert pianist, and professor for great Latin jazz musicians, Arturo Sandoval, Chucho Valdez, and many others. Her great-grandfather, Armando Romeu and great-uncle Antonio-Maria Romeu were signed to RCA Records and were the inventors of the piano rolls. Her great-uncle, Armando Romeu Jr. was the inventor of the music reading method for the blind, approved by Music Academies in Paris France. Jeannette Romeu has worked closely with Legendary Thomas Dowd in music composition and engineering. Thomas Dowd has stated, “Jeannette Romeu is pre-destined to be one of the most amazing producers and composers for any major artist in the industry today.” The President of CD Baby, Derek Sivers has stated, "Jeanette is one of the most prolific and consistent artists at CD Baby. I think she'll keep generating great music no matter what happens." The CEO for Atlantic Records in New York, Ahmet Ertegun, stated that Galaxy Girl’s “Tranceatlantic Love album was timely and very nicely produced”, and “Jeannette is a great musician, composer and singer.” COLLABORATIONS ON VARIOUS MUSIC PRODUCTIONS SUCH AS:
