Vicious Vic's credentials as a dance music phenomenon are undeniable. A veteran of the East coast rave scene, he helped give the sound of the New York underground global recognition by DJing alongside such East coast luminaries like Frankie Bones, John Debo, Scott Henry, Feel Good, Diesel Boy, Micro, DJ Icee, Bad Boy Bill, Keoki, Josh Wink, DJ Irene, Christopher Lawrence, Richard Humpty Vission, Donald Glaude, and Rabbit in The Moon.
As a natural progression from his success as a DJ, Vicious Vic joined with DJ Micro under the pseudonym Progression to produce a series of hugely successful remixes and original works. The duo became overnight heroes in the international dance scene following the release of their massive debut single Reach Further which became an instant club smash. The increasingly sought after duo were soon commissioned to remix artists from Paradise 3001 and Joe T. Vanelli to Masters at Work, as well as a wickedly groovy remix of the Dado's X Files theme. Progression's first album Progress Into Our Future on Sorted Records received international attention following their remixes and original work, most notably with the massive single Reach Further the full length album was described by Mixmag as "seamlessly mixed and a hardcore good time."
Continuing to explore new musical horizons, Vic produced a successive string of hits for some of the world's most respected labels including the UK's Open label formed by the Ministry of Sound, Strictly Rhythm, Nervous/Sorted, Adrenalin, and Black Sunshine Esp-Sun & Caffiene. With Vic's visibility and reputation continuing to grow, he's appeared at clubs and raves worldwide including tours of the US, Japan, England, Canada, France and Hong Kong. In addition, Vicious Vic has produced a number of widely acclaimed mixed CDs including Capsule (Journees Music), Trance Voyages (Topaz), & The Progressive Experience (Neurodisc-Capitol Recs).
